How do I join KinStar?
KinStar is invite-only. Sign in with Apple or Google, then connect with a friend who's already on KinStar: scan the QR code on their Profile, or open the invite link they send you.
Is KinStar free?
Yes, KinStar is free.
Who can see what I love?
Only the friends you've connected with. There are no public profiles, no followers and nothing to find in a search.
Why can't I search for people?
On purpose. KinStar is for people you actually know, so you connect in person with a QR code or with an invite link from a friend, never by looking someone up.
Is there an iPhone or Android app?
The iPhone and Android apps are coming soon. Until then, the web app works on a computer and in your phone's browser.
How does swiping work?
Swipe left on a title you loved, down to put it on your watchlist, and right to hide it for now (it can come back after a while). Nothing you do is negative.
Where does the title information come from?
Titles, posters and details come from TMDB. Where to stream a title comes from JustWatch. Add the services you pay for in Profile → My subscriptions to see what's included for you.
How do I get a copy of my data or delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile → Export my data for a copy of everything, or Profile → Delete account. Deleting is immediate and can't be undone.
